Cottage Pricing "Island Cottage" by Phil Capen The first step in pricing your Island Gal Cottage shell package is selecting a model size. There are three standard sizes to choose from raging from 960 to 2016 square feet. All models have a width/depth of 32’ measured across the gable end. The three standard model sizes have lengths of 30’, 36’ and 42’. Pricing is the same for either a “Cape Cod” or a “Chalet” style home. Refer to the floor plans provided by your Island Gal Cottage representative for assistance in selecting a model size and style that meets your needs. You may also design your own floor plan. Island Gal Cottage’s standard shell pricing is based on an upper level that is 50% floored area and 50% “open-to-below”. Some of the floor plan designs provided by Island Gal include more than a 50% floor area upstairs. The cost of these designs will be slightly higher if you use these floor plans or custom design similar plans. Lofts may be constructed horizontal or vertical to the gable end of the home for added design. Pressure Treated Shell Pricing
